NTB3000 new from ONELAN

New from ONELAN is the NTB3000 digital signage player, containing a 2.8GHz Pentium P4 processor.

It's part of a range of players that provides digital signage images on any plasma, LCD or projected display screen. The displayed media can come from a wide selection of user-supplied media or from free-to-air news channels for information displays in large organisations such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools and corporate buildings.

The NTB3000 offers a storage capacity of 80GB for user media, uses a universal input voltage internal mains PSU and provides a 10/100/1000BaseT LAN interface.

It will display in both portrait and landscape mode, useful in retail applications where portrait display orientation is popular.

The company's NTB115 model - designed for less intensive applications - is based on a 1GHz VIA C3 processor, offering a storage capacity of 80GB for user media and operating from a 60 watts external power brick.

This box provides a 10/100BaseT LAN interface and contains an integrated module that provides VGA over CAT5 out of the Net-Top-Box. The new module allows VGA and audio signals to be transmitted over standard CAT5/CAT6 cabling.

It produces up to six output signals and delivers clear images and audio up to 300m over the industry standard low cost cabling. The 6-way transmitter is integrated into the NTB. Individual receivers convert the CAT signals back to VGA and audio at remote displays.

Commenting, David Dalzell, Director of ONELAN said: “The NTB3000 was developed as a direct response to requests from the channel for a product with the power to display more complex Flash animations.”

The Net-Top-Box can be deployed stand-alone or built into a large network of players distributed over a campus, a county, a country or even a continent.
